On the eve of the Day of National Unity, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a decree pardoning another 37 people convicted of extremist crimes. This is another humane gesture on the part of the state towards those who had gone astray.

The document was signed on 16 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Six of the pardoned are women, some of those pardoned have chronic diseases, are disabled, and are pensioners.
