Belarus’ PM: Openness is way forward in bilateral relations in today’s geopolitical situation

In the current difficult geopolitical situation, it is openness to dialogue and mutual trust that drive forward bilateral cooperation, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said during the talks with President of Republika Srpska, an entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, BelTA has learned.

"The fact that you arrived in Belarus at the head of a representative delegation of Republika Srpska, that includes ministers who are responsible for key sectors of the economy, highlights your interest in the development of bilateral relations," Roman Golovchenko said. 

"You had a very warm and constructive meeting with the Belarusian president. We remember well your previous visit to our country, which gave a serious impetus to the development of economic relations between Republika Srpska and Belarus," he said. "We hope that this visit will give an even greater impetus to the development of our relations." 

As BelTA has repotted, President of Republika Srpska, an entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik is in Belarus on a working visit on 17-19 February. The agenda of the visit is packed and provides for a number of meetings and negotiations, visits to a number of industrial enterprises, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Minsk Scientific and Practical Center of Surgery and Transplantology. The visit focuses on the development of bilateral trade ties, building up cooperation in industry, healthcare, science and education, expanding the bilateral legal framework.
