Belarus pays close attention to the promotion of youth science and interaction of young scientists from different countries. “The Academy of Sciences offers all kinds of opportunities to young people: scientific conferences are organized as well as science festivals, contests, including 100 Young Talents of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. We try to support young scientists, help them, and contribute to their development since future belongs to them. And it is their job to work hard and purposefully and defend dissertations,” Vladimir Gusakov said.
He also pointed out that the Youth in Science 2023 conference is an international one. “It is a basic conference for the Council of Young Scientists of the International Association of Academies of Sciences (IAAS). The IAAS includes scientific organizations from a number of countries: CIS states, China, Vietnam, and Mongolia. Young scientists should endeavor to team up, to implement joint projects. They can count on our complete support. We never reject requests of young people. We try to come up with acceptable, optimal solutions to any requests and petitions. But you have to primarily count on yourself, on your own labor, determination, and the desire to become a scientist,” the chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus stressed.
