Belarusian farmers have prepared over 1.362 million hectares of soil for sowing winter grain crops, or 89.8% of the plan.According to the Agriculture and Food Ministry, 5.55 million tonnes of organic fertilizers have been applied for winter sowing. Farmers have also applied 361,900 tonnes of mineral fertilizers (91.8%), including 62,700 tonnes of nitrogen fertilizers (125.6%), 60,000 tonnes of phosphorus fertilizers (50.1%) and 239,200 tonnes of potash fertilizers (106.5%). Autumn plowing have been completed on the area of 38,600 hectares (2.6% of the target).
