Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to President of Sierra Leone Julius Maada Bio as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Your country has all necessary resources to become one of the leaders in West Africa,” the message of greetings reads. “Belarus confirms its interest in deepening bilateral mutually beneficial contacts in economic and humanitarian sectors. I am confident that Belarusian farming equipment, high-quality foodstuffs, medicines, expertise and technologies in ensuring food security and developing the corresponding industry can serve to improve the wellbeing of the population and sustainable development of your state.”
Belarus is open to the formation of a legal framework in education to train personnel in a wide range of specialties for the needs of Sierra Leone.
“I will be happy to meet with you in person in any convenient format to discuss promising areas of joint work,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
He wished the president of Sierra Leone good health and happiness, and peace and prosperity to the people of this country.
