Governor of Russia’s Tula Oblast Dmitry Milyayev visited MAZ the other day. Promising avenues of cooperation were discussed in detail at a meeting with MAZ Director General Valery Ivankovich. The avenues of cooperation had been identified at a meeting of the Tula Oblast governor and Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko. Those are manufacturing cooperation and the development of a pilot project to offer electrobus services.
For example, there is a high-tech metallurgical plant in Tula Oblast. The plant is Russia’s and Europe’s largest producer of vanadium.
Dmitry Milyayev remarked that Tula Oblast intends to buy 17 MAZ trucks in 2025.
