A total of 5,270 hectares of areas were cleared, which is 99.8% of the plan, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.Sugar beet harvest is 97.8% complete, with 101,600 hectares cleared. Farmers harvested over 5 million tonnes of sugar beet, with yields averaging 488 centners per hectare.The harvesting of grass fodder continues. Over 9.5 million tonnes of forage units (96.9% of the target) have been harvested so far.
